Some Changes for SDC

Nearly two months after the original opening date, Silver Dollar City recently re-opened for all guests Monday, June 15. While this is exciting news for visitors and locals alike, Silver Dollar City will implement many new safety measures in guidance with certified health agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC).

A Few Things to Know Before Visiting

-Face masks and/or face coverings will be required for all visitors 3 and older.
-Temperature screenings will be taken before entry. Screenings will be touchless and anyone showing a temperature above 100.40 will not be allowed in the park.
-Guest capacity will be limited in attraction and dining areas to ensure social distancing is properly maintained.
-Physical distancing will be put into effect all around the park by marked queus,  barriers, and signs showing messages like ‘Do Not Enter’, ‘One Way’, and ‘Stand Here’.
-Many additional sanitation measures will be put into effect including the frequent cleaning of ‘high touch areas’.

It’s common to see food and beverage locations frequented by long lines of people, especially during lunch and dinner hours. While such locations will be still be open in the park, there are a few changes guests should know about beforehand.

-Indoor and outdoor seating will adhere to social distancing guidelines.
-Hand sanitizing stations will be available at all Food and Beverage areas. Please use them.
-Utensils, condiments, and menus will be provided to guests at the counter per request and sanitized after every use.
-Tables, chairs and other items in common areas will also be cleaned after every use.
